Who I am

I am a Canadian-Mexican social anthropologist and Federally Licensed Gestalt Psychotherapist (Ced. Prof. 8699551), practicing online from Mexico with adults, relationships, groups, and student therapists around the world. I have been practicing as a therapist for 18 years and organizing international conferences and events since 2011 — as therapist, trainer, interpreter, and event facilitator.

I am the founder of the Asociación Mexicana de Psicoterapia Gestalt and founder of the Humans of Gestalt documentary project. My work is grounded in anti-oppression, feminism, decolonial perspectives, and social justice — and shaped by a standing interest in relationship dynamics and humour as essential human resources.

I am neuroqueer. I am a mother, an actual genetic mutant with a rare disease, and a survivor of intimate partner violence and post-separation abuse. I rescue dogs and cats (from Facebook), go to therapy, and play padel.
